Large Mn13Cr2 cast-steel dredger-component enquiries are offered with CNC machining and deburring. Resistance and hardness are named qualitative attributes, with the actual material condition and acceptance requirements to be defined for the selected dredger part.

Connect the casting to its dredger duty

Provide the component drawing, mounting arrangement and surfaces exposed to the intended operating conditions. Specify the Mn13Cr2 grade requirement and any hardness or wear tests needed for approval. This gives the material description a defined role in evaluating the ordered component.

Allocate CNC work to the functional geometry

Mark the faces, bores and locating dimensions that require machining. CNC machining and deburring are the named process sequence, with micro-machining support also listed. Define the inspection basis for the finished interfaces and distinguish these from the general cast surfaces.

  • Submit the dredger-part drawing and selected material condition.
  • Identify CNC-machined interfaces and deburring requirements.
  • Specify hardness or wear acceptance where required.
  • State quantity and any requested custom-logo details.

Define other machining projects independently

The wider service menu names broaching, drilling, etching or chemical machining, laser machining, milling, turning, wire EDM and rapid prototyping. Additional requests include aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, stainless steel, steel alloys, titanium, precious or hardened metals, and nylon/POM/polyester polymers. Give each project its own material and method; these choices do not change the composition of the Mn13Cr2 casting. OEM/ODM support can then be discussed against the drawing and finished-condition requirements of the actual item.
