Machinery-component enquiries cover precoated resin-sand cast steel and separately specified gray-iron, ductile-iron or ADI castings. Choose the actual material and condition for the part before defining the requested route. OEM/ODM work should be based on a drawing that identifies the intended machinery function and delivered component.
Define casting and additional work separately
Blanking, bending, forming, welding and anodizing are named additional service requests for suitable materials and geometry. Identify which work is needed for the actual order. Mark cast areas, joining locations or other relevant interfaces so the quotation describes the selected scope rather than a universal processing sequence.
Assign the inspection resources to acceptance
Testing references include a spectrograph, CMM, roughness tester and tension tester. Define the checks and records required for the selected grade, surface condition and fitted geometry. An item labelled PP also needs its actual identity and requested role established in the inspection brief.
Select the governing documents
Standard families are DIN, AISI, SAE, ASTM, UNS, GOST, ISO, BS, EN and JIS. Identify the applicable document and grade for the component. Qualification references include ISO9001, TS16949 and RoHS; the exact ISO1400 designation also needs the relevant document and scope identified.
Set a machinery-specific approval basis
Provide quantity, controlled revision and the material condition required by the working environment. Link sample approval to the dimensions, surface requirements and records agreed for the component. This gives the durability request an actual part and duty against which acceptance can be assessed.
