Custom gray-iron sand castings are available for OEM enquiries with CNC and micro-machining. Separate multi-metal machining, punching and prototyping requests should identify the actual supplied item. Select the complete grade, incoming form and compatible route for the component’s intended duty.
Choose materials and processing by item
Additional materials are aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, hardened metals, precious metals, stainless steel and steel alloys. Services include broaching, drilling, etching or chemical machining, laser machining, milling, turning and wire EDM. Assign the required operation to the selected geometry rather than treating all services as one production sequence.
Supply the controlled design data
The design-data menu names Pro/Engineer, SolidWorks, Unigraphics and AutoCAD, with IGS, STP, STL and X-T files. Identify the controlling revision for the actual component. Mark locating references, functional limits and measurement conditions at the cast or finished interfaces governing fit.
Define painting and prototype acceptance
Specify painted areas and the final appearance or contact condition required on the chosen substrate. For a prototype request, explain the characteristics it must demonstrate before production approval. Identify the actual application and supplied state instead of assuming universal fit from a broad service description.
- State the gray-iron casting or separate machined part’s quantity.
- Show mounting and mating relationships with adjoining equipment.
- Identify material, dimensional and surface approval records.
- Retain accepted grade and processing decisions within the item definition.
Confirm further work against that approved geometry and working purpose.
