Custom component enquiries include aluminum alloy, iron, brass, stainless steel or copper with selected sand- or gravity-casting routes. OEM/ODM supply can begin from a one-piece minimum. Identify the actual component or mold deliverable, complete grade and required supplied condition.
Define geometry and the dimensional convention
Show mounting, mating and working interfaces in the intended assembly. The tolerance reference is ±0.02–0.05 mm; identify the affected dimensions, intended limits and measurement stage for the actual design. Mark datums and any relationships that require joint assessment for finished acceptance.
Specify paint or powder finishing
Define the selected surface process, substrate and coverage. State the required appearance and contact condition at functional areas. Identify masking and any dimensions assessed after finishing so the final supplied result is explicit for the component being quoted.
Agree the quality guarantee and documents
A three-year quality guarantee is stated. Define the covered supply, start date and applicable terms with the order. Request relevant ISO9001:2015 documentation and supplier scope alongside the component’s actual material and dimensional acceptance records.
- Provide quantity and the controlling drawing revision.
- Identify the material condition required by the design.
- Explain what an initial component must demonstrate.
- Retain approved surface and geometry changes with the order.
Keep the selected material, casting route and finished-interface requirements connected to the supplied-state definition so production approval addresses the actual component or separately defined mold.
