OEM/ODM enquiries cover aluminum-alloy, zinc-alloy, stainless-steel or carbon-steel components through compatible lost-wax, gravity or sand-casting routes. Identify the actual metal core, tool or cast part being requested. Size and tolerance follow the selected 2D or 3D drawing.
Define the tool and component boundaries
Specify the complete grade, required condition and included supply for each item. Show how a core or tool relates to the component geometry where those items form part of the request. Keep each deliverable’s acceptance connected to its actual purpose and selected manufacturing route.
Locate functional limits and supplied surfaces
Mark mounting and mating interfaces with the references governing final fit. Establish measurement conditions for relationships assessed together at approval. Sandblasting, polishing, anodizing, powder/coating and rubber-coating requests need the intended process, compatible substrate and final result defined.
Agree quality-control and document scope
The stated 100% quality control needs actual checks and acceptance records for the selected component or tooling. Identify material, dimensional and surface evidence required at the supplied stage. Request applicable ISO9001 and TS16949 documents with relevant holder and activity scope.
- State core, tool or component quantity and the controlling drawing revision.
- Describe the working duty and adjoining interfaces.
- Identify treated areas, appearance and contact requirements.
- Retain accepted grade and supply-scope decisions within the order.
Use the approved geometry and deliverable definition when confirming further casting work.
