Custom aluminum sand castings with CNC machining support automotive, motorcycle and industrial-component enquiries. OEM/ODM work includes complex-shape requirements defined by the actual drawing. Select the complete alloy specification and condition around the component’s geometry and intended supplied state.
Choose an alloy without assuming equivalence
Named references are ZL101, ZL101A, ZL102, ZA356, A356-T6, AlSi7Mg and AlSi1. Identify the governing document and required material condition for the chosen part. Show the assembly interfaces and operating requirements that make the selected material appropriate to the design.
Describe complex form and CNC-controlled interfaces
Provide overall and internal geometry relevant to the casting proposal. Mark datums and dimensions requiring final machining, with measurement conditions for acceptance. Distinguish the cast-state form from the interfaces that determine installation or working fit.
- Finish choices include sandblasting, shot blasting, polishing and powder coating.
- Specify coverage, masking and the required appearance.
- Supply 2D PDF/CAD or 3D IGES/STEP information.
- Provide quantity and the controlling drawing revision.
Approve the actual cast and machined result
The stated 100% inspection should address agreed material, dimensional and surface characteristics of the selected component. Define methods and reporting and explain what an initial part must demonstrate. Identify the finished interfaces whose relationships establish acceptance of the complex shape. Retain approved grade, geometry and treatment changes with the supplied-state definition so production acceptance follows the actual automotive, motorcycle or industrial casting order.
