Custom nonstandard aluminum-component enquiries include sand or die casting with machining-center work where needed. Define the complete aluminum specification and actual part drawing for OEM/ODM quotation. Identify whether the order also concerns a mold or separately requested fabricated work.
Make the nonstandard geometry explicit
Show how the part mounts, locates or contacts neighboring components. Include sections needed to explain internal form and any changes affecting the supplied shape. Mark datum relationships and acceptance limits for the dimensions that determine assembly fit.
Assign finishing to the ordered interfaces
Distinguish cast surfaces from interfaces requiring subsequent machining-center work. Define the measurement stage and supplied condition for those areas. Surface treatment and custom color should have specified coverage, masking and appearance requirements, especially where finish interacts with fitted geometry.

Set qualification and packing requirements
The minimum order is 1000 pieces, with poly-bag, inner-box and carton packing. Describe protection needed for the selected finish and machined interfaces. Request relevant IATF16949 certificate scope alongside the part requirements. Record any agreed design changes in the revision used for production. Agree checks and acceptance criteria for the component, keeping sample and production approval connected to the chosen route, drawing and delivered-state definition for the actual nonstandard order.
