OEM/ODM machinery enquiries include EN-GJL-250 gray-iron sand castings and separate ductile-iron components. Additional aluminum-alloy or cast-steel requests can be specified for a compatible process. Drawings or samples should identify the complete grade and condition required from each item.
Put process-specific references in the acceptance brief
A casting request carries the CT12 reference, while separately forged and stamped items have CT9 and CT5 references respectively. For the selected machined interfaces, assign ±0.01 mm to defined dimensions and an agreed measurement stage. Identify the governing basis for each chosen process and the geometry being assessed.
Show the heavy-machinery assembly relationships
Mark mounting, locating and contacting interfaces with the datums controlling their fit. State the operating conditions relevant to the component and material. Distinguish cast-state form from any further work needed to achieve the specified final result.
- Color is customized to the selected component requirement.
- Packing choices include wooden case, carton, bulk, individual or custom.
- Specify protection needed for finished working interfaces.
- Define material, dimensional and surface approval records.
Agree quality and after-sales scope
Quality inspection and after-sales services are named; define applicable checks, records and support arrangements for the actual part. Include quantity, revision and the purpose of any initial item. Retain the accepted grade, route and supplied-state definition with the order so approval follows the actual machinery component and selected manufacturing scope.
