Custom gray- or ductile-iron valve parts and flywheels can be requested with green-sand casting and CNC-lathe or milling-center work. OEM/ODM scope includes mold work and selected heat treatment. Identify the actual component and complete grade for its industrial, automotive or electrical duty.

Define valve or flywheel interfaces separately

A valve-part request should show connections and working geometry in its intended assembly. A flywheel drawing needs its own mounting relationships and rotating-duty requirements. Mark datums and dimensions controlling acceptance for the component being ordered.

Assign limits and material condition

The casting reference is CT4–CT9, while machining references are ±0.005 mm and ISO2768-mk. Identify the actual document, controlled dimensions and supplied stage for each requirement. Annealing, quench-and-temper or ADI-related treatment should match the selected grade and required condition.

  • Finish choices include zinc plating, painting and powder coating.
  • Define coverage, masking and final surface acceptance.
  • Planning services include PFMEA, PPAP, APQP, Control Plan and MSA.
  • Identify the actual planning and inspection deliverables needed for approval of the chosen valve or rotating component’s acceptance.

Keep component approval connected to the drawing

Provide quantity and the controlling revision, with material and dimensional records for the selected interfaces. Explain what an initial part must demonstrate about fit, treatment or finish. Retain approved changes with the supplied-state definition so production acceptance follows the actual valve casting or flywheel and its intended operating duty.
