Iron, steel or aluminum components can be requested through compatible sand- or investment-casting routes. Aluminum or zinc die-cast items and separate stainless-steel components need their own material and process definitions. OEM/ODM supply follows the actual grade, drawing and required supplied state.
Set the industrial material and component brief
Describe the selected part’s role within the equipment and its operating duty. Show mounting, locating and mating relationships with adjoining components. Identify the complete applicable DIN document and governing requirements for that actual item.
Define optional finished-interface work
Tolerances follow the customer drawing. Mark surfaces requiring further machining and distinguish them from cast-state regions. Establish measurement conditions for dimensions assessed together when approving the final component fit.
Choose blasted or polished surfaces
Shot blasting and polishing are named finishing options. Assign the selected operation to the actual substrate and define its coverage. Identify appearance, contact conditions and masking where surface work affects dimensional acceptance or the component’s installation.
- Submit 2D PDF/CAD or 3D IGES/STEP data for the chosen component.
- State its quantity and controlling industrial-part revision.
- Identify material, dimensional and surface approval records.
- Request applicable IATF16949 documentation and activity scope.
Explain the initial-part assessment needed against the actual mating equipment. Retain accepted grade, route and finishing decisions within the supplied-item definition used for further requests for that chosen industrial assembly and required operating duty.
