Custom stainless-steel components can be requested with selected lost-wax investment or sand casting and polished or ground surfaces. OEM/ODM dimensions follow the actual drawing. Separate die-casting enquiries need a compatible material and route definition for the specific component.
Define the stainless part and complete grade
Show the component’s function and interfaces with surrounding equipment. Identify the governing material specification and required condition. State operating requirements relevant to the design and the material or component checks needed for acceptance.
Locate polished and ground interfaces
Mark the faces requiring finishing with their dimensional limits and appearance requirements. Identify the finished faces included when recording the component’s accepted appearance. Identify datums, measurement conditions and any relationships assessed together for assembly fit. Distinguish the general cast form from areas needing a particular final contact or visible result.
Assign professional inspection to the supplied state
Professional inspection is stated. Define the actual methods, coverage and records needed to approve the selected material, geometry and surface. Explain what a sample or initial item must demonstrate about the finished component before production acceptance.
- Provide quantity and the controlling drawing revision.
- Identify the selected casting and finishing scope.
- Packing combines poly bag, inner box and carton.
- Specify protection for finished working and visible surfaces.
Retain accepted grade, geometry and surface changes with the order so component approval follows the actual stainless casting and its required delivered condition.
