    Custom Made Cast Iron Part

Wear-resistant alloy-steel bucket-tooth enquiries are available with sand casting for mining excavators. Custom cast-iron parts and other buyer-specified materials are separate component requests. Define the actual drawing, complete grade and required material condition for each item.

Specify the tooth attachment and wear duty

Show the connection to the intended excavator assembly and the geometry controlling location and fit. State the operating and wear conditions relevant to the selected design. Identify material-property and service-duty acceptance needed to assess the actual bucket tooth. Identify the attachment and working surfaces assessed together during the tooth’s final acceptance.

Assign optional machining and final surfaces

Resources include milling, lathe, drilling and three- or four-axis CNC machining centers. Mark the finished interfaces and measurement conditions required by the component. Dimensions and surface treatment follow customer requests, with coverage and contact conditions made explicit for the selected substrate.

Keep application and inspection scope specific

Automotive, medical-equipment, electric-appliance and hardware requests need their own design and acceptance brief. The stated 100% inspection should address agreed characteristics using defined methods and reporting. Request relevant ISO9001, TS16949 and RoHS documents with their actual scope.

  • Provide quantity and the controlling revision.
  • Identify cast-state and finished-interface boundaries.
  • Specify material, dimensional and surface approval records.
  • Explain what an initial component must demonstrate.

Retain approved grade, attachment geometry and finish changes with the order so acceptance follows the actual bucket tooth or separate component supplied.
