Specify the heavy-duty aluminum component through its actual drawing, full alloy grade and intended working conditions. This custom OEM/ODM sand-casting enquiry also includes separately selected zinc-alloy work. Keep the material and duty of each component clear so its geometry, surface treatment and final acceptance can be reviewed together.
Define the Component's Drawing Requirements
Sizes and tolerances follow the customer drawing. Identify functional interfaces and the condition in which the dimensions will be assessed, rather than relying on a general heavy-duty label to settle the design. The selected sand-casting scope should remain suitable for the actual material and component geometry.
Choose a Surface for the Selected Alloy
The finish requirement should identify the substrate, treated areas and final appearance needed by the design. Assess the named options against those conditions instead of applying the same surface process to every aluminum or zinc component.
- Painting can be defined through its required coverage and appearance.
- Anodizing can be specified for the compatible material and surface condition.
- Powder coating can be selected for the actual component requirements.
- Electrophoresis can be included with an agreed process and acceptance basis.
Agree Inspection and Order Arrangements
The component receives 100% inspection before release, with characteristics, methods and acceptance records agreed for the ordered work. Minimum order is negotiated, and export packing is named. Provide the required quantity and final material, dimensional and surface criteria to establish the actual supply boundary.
Clarify the Applicable Quality Document
The qualification reference ISO2009 needs its actual document identity and applicable scope clarified. Request that information with the selected drawing and component acceptance requirements. A complete heavy-duty casting enquiry should link one material specification, compatible surface process and inspection basis to the particular part being approved.
