Specify the actual component before assigning the material and casting route. This OEM/ODM enquiry covers custom iron sand-casting work alongside separately selected metal investment castings. Plastic or rubber items can be discussed as independent components with their own material and processing requirements, keeping the metal-casting proposal focused on the parts that belong within it.
Define the Material for Each Deliverable
Metal choices include iron, steel, brass, aluminum and magnesium. Give the selected component its complete grade and drawing, then agree a suitable sand- or investment-casting route for that geometry. If the project also includes a plastic or rubber part, identify that item separately so its processing definition and acceptance requirements are clear.
Set the Surface Condition by Substrate
Burr-free condition, electrolytic polishing, anodizing and powder coating are available surface requests to assess for the actual material. Identify which faces need the selected treatment and what final appearance or condition is required. That lets the finishing discussion follow the component drawing rather than applying one surface process to every material in a mixed enquiry.
For electrical-appliance, building-accessory or sports-equipment components, include the functional interfaces and the intended use of the ordered item. Dimensions and appearance criteria should describe that particular component, with any proposed material or geometry change reflected in the same drawing revision. These inputs help define an assessable part without turning an application name into an unagreed performance requirement.
Keep the Custom Order Technically Consistent
State the required quantity and final material, dimensional and surface acceptance for each deliverable. Connect the selected grade, casting route and finishing coverage to the same approved drawing. A coordinated request can then distinguish the iron sand casting, another metal investment casting and any independent nonmetal component instead of treating them as one interchangeable product.
