A custom casting enquiry should identify whether the requested supply is a part, a casting tool or an agreed combination. This OEM/ODM service covers ductile-iron, grey-cast-iron and aluminum enquiries with machining when needed and surface treatment. Define the actual item and selected manufacturing route before the component or tool requirement is quoted.
Name the part or tool being requested
Provide the required geometry and explain how the supplied item will be used in the industrial project. Sand-casting and aluminum die-casting requests are separate enquiries, with the material and process chosen for the actual design. The quotation should identify any tooling included alongside the selected component.
- OEM and ODM customization are available.
- The minimum order is 100 pieces.
- Polishing is a surface-treatment option.
- Color is customized for the supplied item.
- 2D PDF/CAD drawings can define the requirement.
- 3D IGES/STEP models provide geometry for discussion.
Place tolerance on the approved dimensions
The tolerance reference is 0.01-0.05 mm, with the applicable areas and supplied condition to be agreed. Define the intended interpretation on the drawing without adding a plus/minus convention automatically. The selected machining scope should follow those dimensions and the final interfaces needed by the component or tool.
Agree the material standard and finish
GB, ASTM, AISI, DIN and BS are specification families for the enquiry, with the exact document and grade selected for the order. Identify the required material, polishing result and inspection criteria alongside the geometry. A clear industrial-part or tooling brief keeps the casting route, optional machining and finished condition connected to the actual supplied item.
