A356 aluminum sand castings can be supplied with T6 heat treatment, CNC machining, CMM inspection and shot blasting. Define the component around its finished function and drawing. OEM and one-stop CNC enquiries also include other separately selected materials and forms.
Place close control on the needed interfaces
The machining tolerance reference is ±0.002 mm. Assign it to specified dimensions, datums and measurement conditions for the chosen part. Three-, four- and five-axis services, micro machining, broaching, drilling, laser machining and milling can be discussed against the geometry requiring that work.
Select a material and final surface
Separate machining capabilities include brass, bronze, copper, stainless steel, steel alloys, carbon steel, hardened metals, precious metals, titanium and POM alongside aluminum alloys. Identify the actual material and supplied form for each request. Additional finishes are anodizing, plating, powder coating and polishing; choose coverage and masking around the component’s contact and visible surfaces.

Set inspection and application qualification
The stated 100% inspection should be connected to agreed characteristics and records. Automotive, aerospace, electronics, medical-equipment and automation enquiries each need their own component and qualification requirements. Request applicable ISO9001:2015 documentation and scope with the inspection brief, retaining the approved material and delivered condition through acceptance.
