OEM/ODM aluminum-alloy sand-casting enquiries include CNC machining with sizes defined by customer 3D drawings. Select the complete alloy and required component condition. The actual large-part design, manufacturing plan and finished interfaces should establish the supplied scope before production requirements are agreed.
Define the part and production basis together
Provide the complete geometry and identify the material quantity and casting plan for the selected order. Agree the melting and pouring arrangement appropriate to that component. Keep the manufacturing scope connected to the actual design rather than applying broad capacity references to every casting.
Locate the CNC-finished dimensions
Show mounting, mating and contacting interfaces with their datum relationships. Assign final limits and the measurement stage to the dimensions requiring CNC work. Distinguish them from cast areas, with the required surface and material condition included in the part definition.
- Provide quantity and the controlled revision.
- Specify the complete aluminum-alloy designation.
- Identify dimensions and surfaces requiring approval.
- Define material and dimensional records.
- Explain what any sample must demonstrate.
Set qualification and order requirements
GB, ASTM, AISI, DIN and BS are standard-family references; select the actual document and grade for the component. The minimum order is negotiated. Identify any design-required traceability records for the selected alloy. Request relevant ISO9001:2015 certificate scope alongside the part requirements, keeping sample and production acceptance connected to the same drawing, selected alloy and final supplied state.
