ProcessSand casting
Custom aluminum housing and enclosure enquiries are offered through sand, resin-sand and gravity-casting requests. OEM work follows the selected component's geometry, with size, color and surface treatment defined by the customer's requirements.
Show the enclosure's walls and connection points
Provide the drawing with the wall sections, mounting locations and mating interfaces used by the design. Explain the component's role within the assembly so the supplier can evaluate the geometry against the actual housing requirement. The dimensions should identify the space needed for adjoining parts as well as the casting envelope.
- Submit the housing or enclosure drawing and revision.
- Select the aluminum grade and requested casting route.
- Mark wall sections and controlled mating dimensions.
- Describe color, surface treatment and appearance requirements.
- State quantity and the required supplied condition.
Select the route for the required geometry
Sand, resin-sand and gravity casting are named enquiry choices. Identify the process requested for evaluation and the dimensional or surface conditions that matter to the ordered part. Keep the selected alloy and manufacturing route with the component drawing so the quotation has a consistent technical basis.
Define surface and purchasing acceptance
Agree the dimensions and surface characteristics used to accept the enclosure. Provide an appearance reference where color or visible finish matters, and identify any areas requiring a different condition. Request applicable current supplier documentation for the ISO9001:2008 qualification reference, keeping the accepted drawing, finish and inspection requirements together for the order.
