Custom OEM and ODM prototype sand-casting enquiries include brass, copper, bronze and aluminum, with separate cast-iron components. Select the actual grade and manufacturing request for each item. Mining or petrochemical applications need their own service conditions and component acceptance requirements.
Define the prototype geometry and interfaces
The dimensional reference is 1–440 mm; identify its application to the selected envelope or dimension. Show the mounting, mating and contact areas that determine how the component is used. State the prototype quantity and the supplied condition needed for the approval decision.
Assign machining and surface measurements
Machining precision is referenced as 0.01 mm and roughness as Ra1.6. Identify the tolerance convention, roughness unit and controlled areas for the delivered stage. The measurement arrangement should show how those interfaces relate to the actual assembly.
- Provide the controlled drawing revision.
- State the full grade and required material condition.
- Mark finished dimensions and measurement references.
- Define material and surface approval records.
Specify treatment and assessment scope
Polishing, plating, galvanizing, chrome finishing and heat treatment are named choices. Define the actual process for any additional treatment request, with masking and substrate compatibility identified. TUV, ISO, SGS and OHSAS are qualification or assessment references requiring applicable documents and scope. Keep prototype approval connected to the selected grade, geometry and service requirements rather than an assumed general industry approval.
