Custom brass-component enquiries offer selected investment or sand casting with OEM and ODM support. Specify the complete brass grade and the component’s use alongside the drawing. The required supplied condition should make clear which geometry is accepted as cast and which interfaces need subsequent work.

Define the brass part through its function

Show the mounting, contact or mating areas that control fit in the assembly. Include the operating environment or service requirements relevant to the material specification. Tolerances follow the customer drawing, so mark the controlled dimensions and datum relationships used for approval.

  • Provide the controlled revision and order quantity.
  • State the full material designation and required condition.
  • Identify machined interfaces and their final dimensions.
  • Define dimensional, material and appearance acceptance records.

Select the final finish for the ordered component

Blasting, polishing, powder coating, zinc plating and chrome plating are named treatment choices. Specify the selected process and coverage, including any masking at locating or contact surfaces. The final surface condition should be described with the same part definition used for dimensional acceptance.

Choose complete standards and qualification records

GB, ASTM, AISI, DIN and BS are standard families requiring the applicable document and edition. Identify actual qualification information and supplier scope for the ISO9001:2008 and TS16949 references. Include any sample approval needed for the brass component, and use the same grade, drawing revision and supplied condition for subsequent production acceptance.
