OEM and ODM industrial cover enquiries include steel or carbon-steel sand and investment castings, with separate aluminum and compatible die-casting requests. Shape, size and color follow customer requirements. Select the full grade, actual cover geometry and supplied condition for each item.
Show how the cover meets the adjoining assembly
Identify the mounting pattern, mating faces and internal clearance relevant to the component’s function. Include any enclosure or service requirements established by the design. A controlled drawing should distinguish the dimensions governing fit from areas accepted in their cast state.

Specify the work and final appearance
Machining can be included where the cover needs a finished dimension, and polishing is the named finish. Identify the surfaces requiring those operations and the appearance condition used for approval. Masking or protection requirements should preserve the selected condition at contact and locating areas.
Connect inspection with packing protection
The cover-component scope states 100% inspection. Identify which checks and records are required for the actual drawing and supplied material condition. Wooden-case packing is named; include separation and protection for the finished geometry. Any sample approval should refer to the same grade, drawing revision and delivered condition that governs the subsequent order, with the industrial-use acceptance clearly identified.
