Custom carbon-steel or stainless-steel components can be requested through sand or lost-wax investment casting. Select the complete grade and compatible route for the actual drawing. Customized dimensions and surface treatment should describe the part and the condition in which it will be supplied.

Locate the casting-tolerance requirement

The casting-tolerance reference is ±0.02 mm. Agree its specific feature, casting process, supplied stage and measurement basis for the selected component. Show the locating references and relationships with mating parts that govern the required installation fit.

Define the selected application

Industrial, commercial, household and automotive components need their actual operating duty and acceptance brief. Identify the material condition and geometry relevant to the chosen design. Keep any separate material request attached to its own component definition rather than combining the two steel families.

Specify surface and inspection acceptance

Choose a compatible treatment and define coverage, appearance and working-contact requirements. The stated 100% inspection needs checks and records for the actual supplied part. Identify material, dimensional and surface evidence required for approval at the agreed processing stage.

  • Packing combines carton and wooden pallet.
  • Specify protection for finished component interfaces within that package.
  • Provide the steel part’s quantity and controlling drawing revision.
  • Explain the characteristics required for an initial casting assessment.

Retain accepted grade, route and surface decisions with the approved design used for subsequent supply.
