Our ServiceCustom make iron casting part as per drawings or samples
Iron heat-sink and radiator castings should be specified through their heat-transfer geometry and installation interfaces. This custom enquiry includes ductile-iron or grey-iron sand-cast parts made from drawings or samples. CNC work, lathe operations, milling, turning, boring and drilling are named machining choices.
Identify the radiator or heat-sink component
Provide the complete geometry and the material grade required by the design. Show the mounting points and any interfaces that control connection to the equipment. Describe the intended duty and acceptance requirements without assigning an unstated heat-output or pressure rating to the component.
- Provide the drawing or sample reference and quantity.
- Select the iron grade and applicable specification.
- Mark cast dimensions and finished machining interfaces.
- Specify the required coating and surface condition.
Apply casting and machining references separately
Casting tolerance is referenced as CT9–11. Machining references are up to IT7 and Ra 0.8–3.2, with roughness units and controlled surfaces to be agreed. Identify the dimensions accepted at each stage and the records needed for the selected part.
Choose Dacromet coating or finish painting
Dacromet coating and finish painting are named surface choices. Select the required treatment and identify contact or mounting areas needing particular instructions. The finished condition should be defined alongside the dimensional requirements.
Agree the supplied item and acceptance
Multilayer wooden-box packing with a large internal plastic bag is stated. Specify the inspection characteristics and documents required for the order. The drawing, material and duty requirements should identify the actual radiator or heat-sink part being supplied.
