Wear- or heat-duty castings need the service conditions linked to a selected material and drawing. This OEM/ODM enquiry includes grey-iron and ductile-iron sand castings with CNC machining. HT200, HT250, HT300, QT450 and QT500 are named iron designations, with aluminum, steel and copper as additional material choices.
Define the wear or thermal requirement for the part
Describe the contact, load and temperature conditions relevant to the component. Specify the material grade and acceptance requirements established by the design. A heat- or wear-resistant enquiry should identify the required result for the actual part rather than assume an unstated limit or service life.
Specify aging, stress relief and machining scope
Natural aging and secondary stress relief are named processing options for the selected component. Identify the required material condition and the interfaces needing CNC machining. Size and tolerance requirements follow the drawing, with 3D, CAD, DWG, STEP and PDF information accepted.
- Identify the component and controlled drawing revision.
- Select the material designation and applicable standard.
- Describe the wear or thermal duty relevant to acceptance.
- Mark CNC-finished dimensions and required condition.
- Specify surface treatment and inspection requirements.
- State quantity and supplier-document needs.
Select the surface condition for the chosen metal
Sandblasting, derusting, priming, painting, powder coating, polishing and anodizing are finishing enquiries. Choose the treatment appropriate to the component specification and identify functional areas needing particular instructions. The minimum order is one piece. ISO9001 is the qualification reference to address through relevant documents and scope, alongside the agreed material and finished-part acceptance.
