Custom sand-casting enquiries include HT250 grey iron and QT450 ductile iron, with separate steel, stainless-steel, aluminum and copper component requests. Select the complete grade and compatible route for each item. Sizes are customized for the drawing and required supplied condition.
Plan machining from the component datums
CNC work, turning, milling and 5-axis processing are named within the scope. Identify the controlled interfaces and the relationships that determine assembly fit. The tolerance reference is CT4–CT6; agree its applicable dimensions, process and supplied stage separately from the finished dimensions required after further work.

- Mark functional datums and mating geometry.
- Define material, dimensional and surface acceptance records.
Choose the surface condition for delivery
Painting, oxidation, polishing, electrophoresis and electroplating are named finish choices. Specify the selected treatment and the areas where masking or contact-surface condition matters. Carton or wooden-box packing is listed; include separation and protection needs for the finished geometry. Identify any protective wrapping that must remain over contact surfaces until the component is installed.
Explain the actual application requirement
Industrial, automotive, agricultural, aviation, construction and electrical requests need their component-specific duty and approval criteria. Identify the applicable ISO9001-system document and inspection scope alongside those requirements. Any sample approval should be tied to the selected grade, controlled drawing and delivered condition so that the production order uses the same acceptance basis.
