ProcessSand casting
Large one-off iron sand-casting enquiries cover machine bases, frames and architectural elements. Choose gray or ductile iron with the complete grade and required material condition. OEM size, color and surface treatment can be customized for the actual design being quoted.
Define the large component’s purpose
Show the geometry establishing support, connection or visible form within the intended application. Identify mounting faces and mating details with the datums that govern their relationships. Include sections needed to explain internal spaces or wall transitions and any installation constraints relevant to the part.
Set the one-off tooling and supplied scope
Provide the controlled drawing or explain the role of a reference sample. Agree the tooling and manufacturing package required for that specific component. Distinguish cast-state acceptance from any additional work requested, with the required delivered condition clear in the quotation.
Describe surface and color by area
Identify working, contacting and visible faces and the treatment requested for each. Provide an appearance reference with coverage and masking instructions where relevant. Define the dimensional acceptance stage if the final surface affects installation or contact.
Agree approval before the one-off order
Confirm the actual large-part supply limits and requirements for the chosen design. State quantity and the material, dimensional and visual records needed for acceptance. Request relevant ISO9001:2008 certificate scope and current documentation. Keep the selected iron, geometry and supplied-state definition attached to sample and production approval so the machine base, frame or architectural element has an explicit order basis.
