Custom OEM component enquiries include copper, iron, aluminum, brass and cast steel as separate material choices. Select the complete grade and required supplied condition for the drawing. The part’s function and mating geometry should establish which dimensions and surfaces need to be controlled for approval.

Choose the casting route for the component

Sand, wax and die-casting services are named process choices, with the actual method selected for the material and geometry. Identify the cast form and any areas requiring machining before the final surface treatment. This gives the quotation a defined scope from the casting request to the required delivery condition.

  • Submit 2D/3D CAD, DWG, STEP, PDF or IGS information.
  • State quantity; the listed minimum order is five pieces.
  • Mark functional datums and finished interfaces.
  • Define material, dimensional and surface acceptance records.

Name the standard used for acceptance

GB, ASTM, AISI, DIN and BS are standard families. Specify the complete document and edition that governs the component requirement rather than using a family name as the full instruction. Include any application-specific checks or sample approval needed for the selected part.

Coordinate finishing and packing

Identify the requested treatment and any masking needed at contact or locating surfaces. Wooden-case or customer-requested packing is named; define separation and protection requirements for the finished geometry. Confirm the actual order scope and schedule, with approval references tied to the same drawing revision and grade used for production.
