Custom casting enquiries cover cast iron, cast steel, brass, bronze or separately selected aluminum, zinc and magnesium alloys. Select sand, die, investment or mold casting for the actual material and drawing. Customer-required OEM/ODM work has a minimum order of one piece.
Set the component’s dimensional requirements
Use the stated 0.1 mm reference to define the precision request for the chosen part. Identify the dimensions concerned, allowable limits and manufacturing stage on the drawing. Show mounting and mating geometry with the datum relationships needed for fit acceptance.
Choose surface operations around the design
Sand blasting, shot blasting, grinding, polishing and pickling are named options. Select suitable work for the substrate and define coverage, masking and the required final condition. Mark contact areas where surface processing affects installation or appearance.
- Provide quantity and the controlled revision.
- State the complete alloy and material condition.
- Identify cast and any finished interfaces.
- Define material and dimensional approval records.
Agree the actual order scope
Describe durability requirements and the intended duty of the supplied component. Discuss the required completion date and quotation using the selected route, geometry and work package. Agree the checks and records needed for sample and production approval, keeping acceptance tied to the same material and delivered-state definition. Include any design-required documentation in the quotation so it follows the selected component. This gives the individual part request a clear technical and procurement basis.
