Custom cast components are offered in stainless steel, ductile iron or aluminum alloy with selected investment- or sand-casting routes. Heat treatment and CNC machining can be defined for the drawing and material. Customized dimensions should identify the required delivered stage for the actual component.
Connect treatment and machining to the drawing
Specify the complete grade and required material condition. Mark interfaces needing final dimensions and the point at which they will be assessed. Show the datums and relationships controlling fit with surrounding equipment parts, distinguishing cast geometry from the finished result.
Keep QC coverage specific
Quality control is random inspection during production and 100% checks of key sizes. Identify those dimensions, measurement methods and required records. Define the material and surface checks needed for component approval separately from the key-size coverage.
- Supply 2D PDF/CAD or 3D IGES/STEP information.
- Specify painting, powder coating or another requested finish.
- Mark coverage and masking around functional interfaces.
- Packing combines bubble bag, carton and wooden crate.
Agree the order unit and approval result
The minimum-order reference is 100; agree its unit and actual part scope. Include quantity, revision and the purpose of any initial sample. Define protection needed for finished geometry within the packing arrangement. Retain the selected grade, treatment and delivered-state requirements with the approval brief so production acceptance addresses the component actually ordered.
