Send a model that explains the finished geometry
Accepted information includes 2D PDF/CAD drawings and 3D IGES/STEP data. Identify the controlled revision and show the surfaces used to locate the component in its assembly. A model can describe the overall form, while marked dimensions establish which interfaces govern acceptance.

Coordinate the machined interfaces
Rotational geometry and prismatic surfaces may need different workholding and inspection references. Identify the datums used for the finished part and any relationship between its bores, faces or mounting points. Agree dimensional and surface acceptance for the ordered geometry rather than assuming one general precision limit.
Define the packing and delivery boundary
Carton or wooden-pallet packing is named, together with door-to-door service. Identify the actual delivery scope and any separation, identification or contact-surface protection required for the component. Include the approval records and sample arrangements needed before the order is released, so the supplied condition, packing and inspection instructions describe the same finished item.
