Industrial OEM/ODM enquiries include stainless-steel casting parts and separate aluminum or steel sand-casting requests. CNC machining and customer-selected surface treatment can be defined for the chosen component. Small orders are accepted, with material and route selected around the actual drawing.
Give the component a complete material definition
State the full alloy grade and required condition. DIN is the named standard family; identify the particular document and edition applying to the order. Explain the industrial duty and surrounding assembly so the material requirement can be considered with the part’s function.
Locate the CNC-finished interfaces
Mark mounting, locating and contacting areas on the drawing. Define the dimensions and datum relationships controlling fit, with measurement conditions for finished acceptance. Distinguish the cast form from the additional machining required at particular interfaces.
Set the surface condition for actual use
Identify working and visible faces and specify the requested treatment for each area. Define coverage and masking where the final surface affects assembly or operation. Include an appearance reference where that is part of approving the selected component.
Agree a small-order approval package
Provide quantity and the controlled revision, with the material, dimensional and surface records required for acceptance. Request applicable ISO9001:2015 documentation and scope. Explain the purpose of any sample and retain the accepted material, route and supplied state as the basis for the component order.
