OEM/ODM stainless-steel investment-cast parts can be requested with zircon-sand-related mould requirements, solution heat treatment and sandblasting. Specify the complete cast grade and material condition for the industrial component. The enquiry concerns the part and its selected casting process.
Define the investment-casting and mould requirement
Provide the customer 3D drawing with the overall form and functional interfaces. Identify the actual mould-material requirements relevant to the ordered geometry. State the component’s working role and required delivered condition so the manufacturing proposal has a defined part-level target.
Place solution treatment and final geometry in sequence
Define the required solution-treated condition and the acceptance records needed for the selected grade. Identify the material and dimensional evidence needed before accepting the treated component. Machining can be added where needed. Mark controlled dimensions, datums and the stage at which interfaces will be assessed after the specified manufacturing work.
- Dimensions and tolerances follow the customer drawing.
- Specify sand-blast coverage and the required appearance.
- Identify contact areas requiring a particular finished condition.
- Provide quantity and the controlling revision.
Agree documents and component approval
ISO is the named standard family; identify the actual document and edition applying to the order. Define material, dimensional and surface checks for acceptance and explain what any initial part must demonstrate. Keep the accepted grade, moulding requirement and treated or finished state attached to the component definition throughout production approval.
