Custom metal-component enquiries cover zinc, brass, iron, steel, aluminum and copper, with stainless-steel and cast-iron requests also named. Die, sand and gravity casting are process choices, alongside lost-wax/investment casting and separately defined mold enquiries.
Choose one deliverable and compatible casting route
Identify whether the order concerns a finished part or a mold, then specify the material grade and drawing. Communication equipment, automation machinery and medical-device components are named application enquiries. Provide the actual assembly requirements so the proposed route can be considered for the selected geometry and use.
- Define the part or mold and its current drawing revision.
- Select the full material grade and requested casting process.
- Mark the interfaces requiring dimensional control.
- State the surface finish, quantity and acceptance checks.
- Describe the sample needed for component approval.
Place the tolerance reference on controlled dimensions
Dimensions are custom made and the stated tolerance reference is 0.01 mm. Agree the dimensions, manufacturing stage and measurement basis to which that reference applies. This gives the precision requirement a defined role in the order instead of treating one figure as the acceptance rule for every cast surface.
Select finishing and approval requirements
Anodizing, nickel plating, zinc plating and polishing are named finish choices for the actual material. Identify treated surfaces and any areas that need protection. Samples are available for enquiry, and ISO9001 qualification documentation can be requested with the applicable supplier and process scope as part of the selected component's approval brief.
