SizeCustomer's Reuqest
Factory OEM enquiries cover new iron or stainless steel cast parts for replacement and repair. Sand casting and investment casting are route directions to be selected for the actual alloy and component design. Sizes follow customer requests, with painting as the listed surface treatment.
Define the replacement against its assembly
Identify the part's working role, mating components and installation conditions. Show locating features, mounting positions and the dimensional relationships that determine fit. Distinguish the intended design from wear on an existing component so the replacement acceptance criteria follow the required geometry.
Select material and governing requirements
Specify the complete iron or stainless grade and the governing SAE document needed for the repair component. Identify the appropriate casting route and any additional machining requirements for agreement during quotation. Mark the final dimensional limits and the condition in which they must be achieved.
Agree finish, inspection and records
Define the painted areas and the required surface result, separating appearance requirements from functional-interface acceptance. ISO 9001 is the certification reference; establish its applicable document and scope. Wooden-case packing is offered for the completed cast parts.
- Provide the controlled drawing revision and selected grade.
- State quantity and any initial replacement-fit approval stages.
- Define inspection coverage and the records needed for the actual part.
Keep the enquiry tied to the specified repair component. Where geometry, material or finish is revised, identify the effect on assembly fit and supplied condition before confirming repeat production requirements.
