Industrial aluminum-alloy component enquiries cover die casting with machining and sand-casting requests. Separate iron-component work requires its own material and manufacturing definition. Select the complete grade and compatible route for the actual drawing so that the quotation describes one clear supplied condition.

Define the interfaces used by the machine

Show how the component mounts and which surfaces locate it relative to adjoining parts. Controlled dimensions should identify the measurement datums and any relationships that affect alignment. Where the component is part of an enclosure or assembly, include the adjacent geometry needed to explain the fit.

  • Provide 2D PDF/CAD drawings or a 3D IGES/STEP model.
  • State the complete material requirement and order quantity.
  • Mark dimensions requiring machining and their acceptance criteria.
  • Identify the requested finish, color and delivered condition.

Specify the surface at functional boundaries

Surface treatment and color follow customer requirements, and tolerances are customized. Identify areas where finishing affects contact, fastening or appearance, including any masking needed at machined interfaces. Define the required final dimensions rather than relying on a general precision description.

Align QC, documents and packing

QC inspection is named within the supply scope. Specify the checks and records required for the part’s material, dimensions and surface condition. Packing is customized, so include separation and protection needs for finished interfaces. Identify the applicable ISO9001:2015 qualification document and its supplier or process scope, and agree the schedule for the actual component and quantity.
