Large aluminum machinery castings need the overall part envelope and the finished interfaces considered together. This OEM/ODM enquiry combines sand casting with CNC machining for heavy industrial machinery. Provide the complete geometry and selected aluminum designation so the casting, machining and finishing request can be defined for the required component.
Show the part envelope and critical interfaces
Include the overall dimensions and the locations of surfaces that determine installation. Identify which areas need CNC machining and place the required finished limits on those dimensions. A complete view of the component is useful alongside detailed interface drawings when discussing a large custom part.
Choose the full aluminum material designation
Material enquiries name ZL101, ZL101A, ZL102, ZA356, A356-T6, AlSi7Mg and AlSi1. Select the designation, governing specification and required condition for the ordered casting. The labels should be used with their own requirements; the T6 condition is part of the A356-T6 choice rather than a treatment assigned to the entire list.

- Identify the grade, delivery condition and required quantity.
- Mark CNC-finished dimensions and inspection requirements.

Coordinate finishing with the machined component
Sandblasting, shot blasting, polishing and powder coating are named options, with customer-required finishing also available for enquiry. Identify the required result and any functional surfaces needing specific instructions. Automotive and motorcycle components are additional application enquiries to define through their own drawings.
Agree the inspection scope for the ordered geometry
The service states 100% inspection. Define the dimensional checks and acceptance criteria relevant to the actual part. The large-component description should be supported by the requested dimensions and supplied-condition requirements when establishing the manufacturing scope.
