Heavy-equipment parts can be requested as gray- or ductile-iron sand castings with CNC work. Steel, stainless steel, aluminum and copper are separate material options requiring their own complete grade and compatible route. Define the actual component drawing, operating loads and required supplied condition.
Set cast and finished-interface requirements
CT4–CT6 is the casting-tolerance reference. Mark dimensions needing final CNC work and establish their independent acceptance limits. Identify locating references and measurement conditions governing the selected component’s installation and working fit.
Choose machining and compatible finishes
Turning, milling and five-axis machining are named operations. Painting, oxidation, polishing, electrophoresis and electroplating need the selected substrate and surface result defined. Identify coverage, appearance and masked contacts where finishing affects dimensional assessment or assembly.
Define application and quality scope
Industrial, automotive, agricultural, aviation, construction and electrical requests require their actual duty and component-acceptance brief. Request applicable ISO9001 quality documents with the relevant holder and activity scope. Specify material, dimensional and surface records required to approve the selected part.
- 2D files include PDF, DXF and DWG.
- 3D files include STEP, IGS and PRT.
- Packing can use carton or wooden box.
- State heavy-equipment component quantity and the controlling revision.
Explain what an initial item must demonstrate against its mating equipment, retaining accepted grade, load and interface decisions within the component record used for repeat heavy-equipment component work.
