A drawing-based metal part needs a chosen material and an agreed manufacturing route before its finishing scope can be defined. This OEM/ODM casting service includes machining when required and surface treatment to the customer's specification. Establish the component geometry and supplied condition so the manufacturing enquiry describes the actual part being ordered.
Choose the route for the selected component
Lost-wax, sand, vacuum, investment and die casting are separate process enquiry options. Select the appropriate route against the component's alloy and geometry rather than treating those methods as one production sequence. The proposed casting and optional machining scope should identify the steps relevant to the required finished part.
Keep the alloy and client requirement together
Aluminum and aluminum alloy, steel and iron, stainless steel, brass, copper and zinc are independent material choices for the enquiry. Name the actual grade and the client specification that governs the order. A controlled component drawing should carry that choice alongside the dimensions and surfaces important to the intended assembly.
- Electroplating is available within the finishing scope.
- Powder coating provides another surface-treatment option.
- Paint spraying can establish the requested exterior condition.
- Sandblasting is a separate treatment choice.
- Packaging combines a poly bag, inner box and carton.
Inspect against the completed-part requirement
The quality-control scope includes 100% inspection, with methods and acceptance criteria to be agreed for the ordered component. Identify the dimensions and final surface condition to be assessed after the selected processing steps, including the required color. For an OEM/ODM metal casting, that inspection basis gives the buyer a reference for the completed part and keeps the agreed material, route and finish connected to the supply proposal.
