New custom cast components can be requested for replacement or repair work in steel or ductile iron. Select sand casting or silica-sol investment casting for the actual material and design. Supply follows the customer drawing, with machining and surface treatment included in the defined work package.
Define the replacement from intended geometry
Show the interfaces mating with the existing assembly and the datums governing their fit. Identify wear, damage or previous alterations on any reference part. State the complete grade and required condition so the replacement is specified by its intended design and duty.
Assign machining and sand-blasted surfaces
Mark the dimensions requiring final work and distinguish them from cast areas. Sand blasting is the named treatment; specify coverage and the delivered condition of working or contacting faces. Include dimensional limits and the stage at which those interfaces are assessed.
Identify application and standard requirements
Industrial, automotive, valve, machinery and agricultural parts are enquiry applications. Select the applicable ASTM, AISI, BS, DIN, JIS or NF document and material specification. Define any duty-specific acceptance needed for the actual component rather than assuming a common replacement fit.
Complete approval and packing
Wooden-case packing is listed. Provide quantity and the controlled revision with material, dimensional and surface records needed for approval. Request relevant ISO9001:2015 documentation and scope alongside those requirements. Keep sample and production acceptance tied to the selected material, geometry and supplied state, including protection needed for finished interfaces.
