Custom aluminum-alloy mechanical components can be requested with independently selected lost-foam, sand- or die-casting routes. Machining is available where needed after casting. Choose the full grade and material condition for the actual drawing and required delivered result.

Set the part’s geometry and manufacturing stage

Dimensions are customized. Identify the component’s mounting, locating and working interfaces within the machinery assembly. Assign the 0.01–0.05 mm tolerance reference to controlled dimensions with an agreed convention and measurement stage, distinguishing cast geometry from any finished interfaces.

Define polishing and the selected surface condition

Polishing or customer-requested treatment can be specified. Mark the areas requiring a particular appearance or contact condition. Make the polishing stage explicit when defining which dimensions require final inspection. Identify coverage and masking boundaries where the surface result affects assembly or the dimensions needed for acceptance.

  • Applicable specification families include GB, ASTM, AISI, DIN and BS.
  • State the actual document, edition and required grade condition.
  • Provide quantity and the controlled component revision.
  • Define protection required within wooden-box packing.

Connect inspection and sample approval

The stated 100% inspection under an ISO9001-system reference should address agreed characteristics and records for the selected component. Request the applicable documentation scope alongside the inspection brief. Explain what the sample must demonstrate about geometry, material or finish and keep its accepted requirements attached to the production part definition and delivered-state acceptance.
