A one-piece casting enquiry can define the same finished-part requirements needed for a larger custom order. This OEM service combines sand- or investment-casting enquiries with CNC machining and requested surface treatment. Establish whether the order concerns a blank, a cast-and-machined part or another agreed supplied condition before selecting the production scope.
Choose the finished-part boundary
Identify the component material, intended assembly and final dimensions on the drawing. The minimum order is one piece, with customized size and logo available for the request. The proposal should describe the particular item that will be received after its selected manufacturing operations.
Set tolerance at the agreed dimensions
The dimensional reference is 0.05 mm, with the applicable areas and datum scheme to be agreed. Preserve the intended tolerance meaning when defining the order rather than adding a plus/minus interpretation automatically. The selected process stage and measurement basis should accompany the requirement for the completed component.
- Painting is available within the surface-treatment scope.
- Powder coating provides a separate finish option.
- Plating and polishing are additional customer-selected treatments.
Use the drawing for manufacturing
Provide 3D, CAD, DWG, STEP or PDF design information with the component revision and critical requirements. The drawing should connect the material and geometry to the casting and machining work being quoted. This gives the one-piece enquiry a consistent technical reference throughout the project.
Select appearance and final acceptance together
The quality-control scope includes 100% inspection. Agree the relevant checks and the final surface condition for the ordered part, including the requested logo where applicable. A defined component and acceptance plan allow the buyer to evaluate the proposed casting-and-CNC supply against the actual order requirement.
