Industrial casting requests should identify a selected component and material. This OEM enquiry includes ductile-iron parts with sand-casting scope and separate ADC12 die-casting requests. Customized size, color, surface treatment and sample service are offered for the actual item to be supplied.
Select the iron or ADC12 requirement
Name the complete material grade and applicable specification for the part. Ductile iron and ADC12 are separate material enquiries rather than a combined alloy. Discuss the sand- or die-casting requirement for that selected grade and component geometry.
Define the 0.01 mm reference by dimension
The stated tolerance reference is 0.01 mm. Identify the controlled dimensions, convention and production stage to which the requirement applies. The drawing should distinguish casting acceptance from any finished interfaces requiring machining.

Coordinate optional machining and custom finishing

Agree the sample and qualification scope
State what the sample must demonstrate and the acceptance criteria used for evaluation. ISO9001:2008 is the qualification reference for which applicable current documents and supplier scope should be requested. The grade, drawing and delivered condition should establish the order without an assumed general precision or performance rating.
