Iron and steel sand-cast hooks are offered through an OEM component enquiry with hot-dip galvanizing. Aluminum, zamac and copper parts are additional requests, with optional machining and selected surface treatment matched to the actual material and geometry.

Define the hook's connection and working requirements

Provide the hook drawing, complete material grade and the interfaces used by the assembly. State the load-related acceptance required by the design and identify the checks needed for that application. The component geometry and duty should establish the basis for quoting and accepting the selected hook.

Specify the machined and coated surfaces

Casting can include machining where needed, with CNC work named in the service scope. Mark the dimensions that require finishing and define hot-dip-galvanizing coverage for the iron or steel item. Powder coating, painting and anodizing are additional finish enquiries for appropriate selected metals.

  • Submit 2D PDF/CAD or 3D IGES/STEP information.
  • Select the hook grade and required quantity.
  • Mark functional interfaces and acceptance dimensions.
  • Define finish coverage and load-related checks.
  • Specify the qualification documents applicable to the item.

Keep approval requirements specific to the component

The stated scope includes 100% inspection and an ISO9001-system reference. ISO9001, TS16949, RoHS, EN124 and EN1433 document requests should identify their actual supplier or product applicability. The minimum order is negotiable, and poly-bag, inner-box and carton packing is named; agree these details with the approved hook drawing and delivered condition.
