Aluminum spare parts should be specified through the cast form and the interfaces required in the finished assembly. This OEM/ODM service combines aluminum-alloy sand casting with CNC precision-machining enquiries. Sandblasting, painting, polishing or customer-required finishing can be selected for the component.
Identify the spare part and its material
Provide the component drawing and the alloy designation required by the design. Describe where the spare fits and which dimensions control that connection. GB, ASTM, AISI, DIN and BS are named standard families, with the applicable grade document to be selected for the order.
- Supply the spare-part drawing and revision.
- Identify the aluminum alloy and governing specification.
- State the quantity and required delivered condition.
- Mark CNC-finished interfaces and dimensional limits.
- Select the required surface treatment.
- Define inspection and supplier-document requirements.
Allocate precision to the finished interfaces
Show which dimensions are accepted in the cast condition and which need CNC finishing. Place the numerical requirements and datums on the relevant interfaces. This makes the precision request measurable for the actual spare part without assuming an unstated general tolerance.
Coordinate surface work and acceptance
Identify the desired sandblasted, painted or polished result and any mating areas needing particular instructions. A customer-requested treatment should be described explicitly in the delivered-part requirements. ISO9001:2015 is the qualification reference; identify the applicable documentation and supplier scope alongside the drawing and acceptance criteria for the selected component.
