Custom aluminum machinery-part enquiries offer sand, gravity and die-casting route choices with OEM, ODM and design support. The alloy and component geometry should be selected together. A controlled drawing gives the quotation a clear basis for discussing the proposed cast form and the required supplied condition.

Use design review to define the component

Accepted drawing information includes 2D data and 3D IGS or STP files. Show the mounting arrangement and the surfaces that establish the part’s location in the machine. Identify which dimensions are fixed by the adjoining assembly and which areas may be reviewed as part of the design enquiry.

Assign the dimensional requirement

The stated tolerance reference is ±0.02 mm. Identify the dimensions, delivered stage and measurement basis to which it applies. Mark the functional datums and any finished interfaces so that the inspection requirement concerns the selected component rather than every surface indiscriminately.

  • State the complete aluminum alloy and required condition.
  • Provide the drawing revision and order quantity.
  • Identify assembly-critical dimensions and inspection records.
  • Define sample approval and the required delivered surface.

Plan the finish and approval sequence

Painting, sandblasting and oiling are named finish choices. Select the treatment and mark any areas where masking or contact-surface condition matters. Agree the mold and sample schedule for the actual design and quantity. ISO9001 and TS16949 are qualification references whose applicable documents and supplier scope should be identified with any related acceptance requirement.
