Custom steel or iron industrial components can be requested through OEM/ODM sand casting with a one-piece minimum. Material, size and surface requirements follow the customer drawing. Select the complete grade and required supplied condition for the actual component and its industrial duty.
Describe the part within its equipment
Show mounting, locating and mating relationships with adjoining components. Identify the operating conditions relevant to the selected material and design. Mark the geometry controlling installation and the actual functional fit required by the assembly.
Define dimensional and final-surface acceptance
Put permitted limits and measurement conditions on the relevant drawing interfaces. Distinguish regions accepted in their cast state from areas needing a particular supplied result. Specify appearance and contact requirements where the surface affects the component’s use.
Select the compatible treatment
Painting and electroplating are named surface requests. An anodizing enquiry needs the actual compatible substrate and supplied item separately defined. Identify coverage, masking and final contact conditions for the process chosen for the order.
- Submit 2D PDF/CAD or 3D IGES/STEP data for the industrial part.
- State quantity and the controlling component revision.
- Identify material, dimensional and surface evidence for approval.
