Custom ductile- or gray-iron equal tees can be requested with sand or resin-sand casting. Flanged, socket and threaded connections are selected end-arrangement enquiries. OEM/ODM work should identify the complete grade, connection standard and actual drawing for the pipeline component being ordered.

Define the tee’s passages and end arrangement

Show the branch and main-run geometry with the required connection at each end. Mark datum relationships and dimensions controlling fit to adjoining pipeline components. Identify sealing or contact requirements and the supplied condition needed at the selected interfaces.

State the actual pipeline duty

Municipal water-supply, drainage and industrial-pipeline enquiries need their actual medium and operating conditions. Specify the design acceptance and checks required for the chosen material and connection arrangement. Include the material condition and any project-specific evidence needed to approve the component.

Choose the blasted surface result

Sandblasting or shot blasting is listed. Define the coverage and appearance needed for the tee, including contact areas requiring a particular final condition. Distinguish cast-state surfaces from interfaces needing additional work within the requested supply.

  • Provide quantity and the controlling drawing revision.
  • Identify the governing material and connection documents.
  • Define material, dimensional and surface approval records.
  • Explain what an initial tee must demonstrate.

Retain the accepted grade, passage geometry and end arrangement with approved changes so production acceptance addresses the actual pipeline fitting ordered.
