Industrial-machinery casting enquiries offer ductile iron, carbon steel or aluminum components through selected investment- or sand-casting routes. Customized sizes and dimensions follow the drawing. Choose the complete material designation and required supplied condition for the actual machinery part.
Show the assembly requirements in the design data
Drawing information can be supplied as 2D PDF or CAD and 3D IGES or STEP. Identify the controlled revision and geometry governing the component. State which file governs geometry when model and dimensional drawing are submitted together. Mark mounting faces, locating details and the datum relationships used to assess fit with neighboring parts.
Assign optional machining and surface work
Machining can be included where needed after casting, with surface treatment following customer demand. Distinguish cast areas from interfaces requiring final dimensions. Describe the selected treatment, coverage and final contact or appearance condition for the supplied part.
- State the order quantity.
- Specify the governing grade and material condition.
- Mark dimensions requiring controlled acceptance.
- Identify material and surface approval records.
- Define the role of any reference sample.
Coordinate qualification and packing
Carton and wooden-box packing are named. Identify protection required at finished faces or edges alongside the component approval requirements. Request applicable ISO9001, TS16949 and RoHS documents and scope for the actual supply. Connect sample evaluation and production acceptance to the same selected material, route and delivered-state definition so the machinery part has a consistent procurement basis.
