Equipment-frame castings in GGG40, GGG50 or GGG60 ductile iron can be requested through OEM/ODM sand casting and CNC machining. Select the complete governing material specification and required supplied condition. The actual frame drawing should establish its support, mounting and working relationships.
Separate casting and machining requirements
CT9–CT11 is the casting-tolerance reference, while machining is offered up to IT7. Assign applicable dimensions and stages to the selected frame. For a Ra0.8–3.2 surface requirement, define its unit, actual face and measurement conditions for acceptance.
Locate the CNC-finished interfaces
Drilling, milling, boring and tapping are named machining operations. Identify the features requiring each selected method and the references governing their relationships. Distinguish those finished contacts from regions supplied in the cast state, with limits appropriate to the equipment’s installed fit.
Specify coating and component protection
Dacromat coating and finish painting are available surface requests. Define coverage, appearance and final contact conditions on the selected substrate. Mark masking where coating affects dimensional assessment or installation.
- Packing uses a multilayer wooden box with a large inner plastic bag.
- Define protection for finished frame interfaces within that arrangement.
- State the equipment-frame quantity and controlling layout revision.
- Identify material, dimensional and surface approval records.
Explain what an initial frame must demonstrate against its support and mating components, retaining approved grade and machining decisions for repeat equipment-frame supply.
