Drawing-based industrial and heavy-equipment enquiries include gray- or ductile-iron sand castings with CNC machining. OEM/ODM service should establish the complete grade and actual component definition. Specify the manufacturing stage needed by the receiving assembly or production operation.
Choose the delivered state before defining work
Raw casting, semi-machined and fully machined supply are available. Identify what remains to be done after receipt and which dimensions must already meet final acceptance. Put the required material condition, datums and supplied-interface boundaries on the controlled drawing.
Assign CNC and treatment to the actual geometry
Turning, milling, drilling and boring are listed CNC operations. Define the dimensions and measurement conditions needed at the selected interfaces. Blasting, painting, anti-rust or custom treatment can be chosen, with coverage and contact conditions specified around working and visible surfaces.
Use sample and production records for approval
Quality control includes material testing, dimensional inspection and visual inspection. Agree methods and acceptance records for the supplied state. Identify what an initial component must demonstrate and the records needed to retain that result through production supply.
- Provide quantity and the controlling revision.
- Select plywood-case or pallet packing with rust protection.
- Define protection for finished working interfaces.
- Request applicable IATF16949 documentation and certificate scope.
Retain approved material, machining and treatment changes with the component definition so acceptance follows the actual drawing-based iron casting order.
